About Forgotten Tears
Forgotten Tears is a metal/hardcore band from Milan (ITA), officially formed in 2008.
The band’s line up currently consists of Faust Quaggia (lead vocals), Matteo Pozzi (guitars), Nikolay Deliyski (guitars), Andrea Giovannoni (bass and backing vocals), Alessandro Mori (drums).
Forgotten Tears has released 1 full-length studio album in 2011 and a new one in 2016.
In 2008 the band went to Ettore Rigotti’s (Destrage, Disarmonia Mundi) studios to record their first EP of four songs, “Still Nothing Inside”.
In 2011 they released “Words To End”, a 11 tracks full-length self produced album, mixed by Alessandro Mularoni (The Modern Age Slavery, Empyrios, DGM) via To React Records. The album was published by To React Records and distributed by Interpunk (USA), Jpc, Weltbild.de, Grooves-Inc. & Andromeda (Europe), Retribution Network (Japan). Since then, the band started touring a lot across Europe, also sharing the stage with Bleeding Through, Bleed From Within, All Shall Perish and many others.
In 2012 Forgotten Tears had the honor to play as the main supporting act for the american historical giants Fear Factory in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The same year they played as opening act for Memphis May Fire in Italy.
In 2013, right after a change of the lineup, they started to write new material for a brand new full-length album. In September 2013 they recorded a new single, produced by Andrea Fusini (Upon This Dawning, Ready Set Fall, and many others…).
In December 2013 Forgotten Tears released the new single and a related music video, called “Breathe New Life”, featuring a drastic change of style of songwriting, thanks to the new alchemy of ideas, inspirations and influences of the new lineup.
In May/June 2014 Forgotten Tears toured overseas for the first time, for a 3 weeks Mexican Tour as headliners w/ Everyone Likes Cathleen.
The band is currently signed to We Are Triumphant label.
The last full length, In Spite Of Everything, has been released worldwide in Jan. 2016.
