Jonzip

Jonzip, lead singer and rhythm guitarist with 70's punk band, The Zips, struck out on his own, a few years back, with a foray into the world of Folk/Punk/Protest, armed only with some sharp words and a battered, acoustic guitar.
With over 40 years of songwriting under his belt, in 2014, he released his debut ep, A Hard Rain At Sunshine Corner, recorded with the help of Smiley Barnard and Pablo Cook of the late, Joe Strummer’s Mescaleros.
Then, in 2020, just prior to you-know-what, he released a limited edition album, Blue Print, copies of which will be available at his November 2022 Scottish dates, supporting Dave Arcari.
