CURTIS BRALY - Entertainer, Singer, Actor & Humanitarian:

Curtis Braly was born into a family that shared a mutual passion for music—no matter the genre, no matter the locale. From the church pew, to the stage and even 10,000 feet in the air, Braly embraces the hymns, rhythms and tunes that surrounded him.

Prior to making the leap into his music career, Braly, began his work helping people by becoming a police officer. At age 24, Braly relocated to Anchorage, AK to join the Anchorage PD. Shortly after his arrival, a municipal hiring freeze was instated, allowing Curtis Braly to focus on his passion for aviation. And so, Curtis enrolled into a flight school, in Anchorage, AK, and obtained his private pilot license.

"Flying was a way to temporarily take to the sky & leave your troubles and concerns back on the ground. I had dreamed of being a pilot since I was a little boy, so getting my license was a huge bucket list item to check off for me," said Curtis Braly.

Shortly after his tours opening for Tanya Tucker, Curtis Braly gained possession of a Cirrus SR-22 by the name of Ruby. Prior to that, Ruby had flown more than 130 life saving missions for Angel Flight. Braly's intent for Ruby now is to continue using the aircraft as a tool to help others. On December 11th, Braly added the first of what he hopes to be many Pilots N Paws missions to that list.

"I've always considered my own pets like my children. Being out with Tanya Tucker this summer & seeing her love of animals just made me further realize that I'm not the only one," says Braly.

"We had to put our dog down earlier this year and it has been so lonely not seeing him meet us at the door. We are excited to have Champ," said the new owners.

Braly has even bigger plans to "give back" in 2019, and is very excited to share these plans with his fans very soon.

"I think it's very important for all of us to realize, regardless of our own situations, we have the ability to help others. There's always someone out there struggling with something greater or worse off than us," said Curtis.
