About Issiah Roberts
Issiah Roberts (23 years old), DJ/Producer. Born and raised in a city called Paramaribo, Issiah
developed an interest for music at a very young age. At the age of 12 he
started experimenting with a software called FL STUDIO making hiphop beats
and then gradually progressed to the EDM, Trap and Moombahton scene. He still uses this software to date.
In 2012 he released his first ep called the "Kepler EP" and was released by Cobra Records. This EP was supported by many djs and podcasts all over the world. He worked with other producers such as Robbin Oort from the Netherlands, Titus1 from Chile, Nikklas from Denmark and many more.
Beside from international producers, Issiah worked with local artists as well. He collaborated with a rockband L.S.D and welknown Mc Laco and made a hit single in December 2015 called the "Desumber Movement". He also did remixes for the labels cubix records and musicsteroidz for artists such as Nette Jongens, SkallM, Higher Collective, Lodiliki, Enver and WSTLND.
He also did remixes for big interational artists such as: Kevin Gates, FDA Music, Nadia Gattas and Sebastian Bronk.
His productions didn’t go unnoticed, since he has been growing support from by the likes of Waylon Pereira, Chuckie, Sjeazy Pearl, Michael Mendoza, Art Inc., Thomas Newson, Row Rocka, Pascal Moreno & Tyron Kemble, Erwin Garcia, Blasterjaxx, Carnage, Bang Radio UK, Dirtcaps, Onderkoffer.
He started spinnin in small clubs/bars and parties before going to the big scene.
Issiah believes that dj-ing is way more then just playing music. He believes that a successful dj has to sense and understand the crowds and their movements and should play the right track in the right moment in the right venue.
Furthermore, he believes that the best motivation and stimulus for a dj is to have ever-moving active party people.
He played alongside big names such as: Hardwell,
Marco V, Rhiannon, Marcel Woods, Martin Garrix, Ralvero, D-Wayne, Benjamin Bates, Gregor Salto, Mitch Crown, Jordy Dazz, Justin Prime, Eva Simmons, Thomas Gold and Franky Rizardo
