About Paper Machines

Formerly Paper Machines, TALKUP is an alternative band from, well, a few different places really. They're a little unusual, but that's what makes them different. TALKUP originally started as Paper Machines in the year 2015. After about a year, a few shows, and a more than a few lineup changes, they finally released their first single "Flatline" in October 2016, with a well-received cover and music video of the PVRIS song, "Demon Limbs" coming after. In 2017, Paper Machines decided to officially change their name to "TALKUP", as a reflection of how much they've changed in the two years that the band has been together. With it, they released a cover of Ne-Yo's "So Sick" and their first single under the new name (second single overall) "Without", which has over 2700 plays currently on Spotify. A little weird. A little different. Bandcamp: https://talkup.bandcamp.com/track/so-sick-ne-yo-cover Twitter & IG: @talkupofficial YouTube: TalkUp
