Yung Honore

Hailing from the vibrant heart of Africa, I am Yung Honore – a modern musical phenomenon, infusing afro-pop, rap, and contemporary worship to spread the uplifting message of Jesus Christ. Born Honore Musele Muyaka in 1992 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, my early life was shaped by my Christian upbringing under my father's leadership, Pastor Felix Muyaka. Growing up in a family of ten, I traveled across five countries, mastering seven languages, igniting my passion for both words and the universal language of music. Settling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, my family founded Living Together in Christ International Ministries.

My mission is to empower this generation with a royal mindset and unshakable self-esteem, revealing the inherent royalty within each individual. With an energetic and futuristic style, I embrace my role as a vanguard for contemporary Christian music, capturing hearts through my eclectic fashion and fervent tracks that pay homage to the King of Kings.

My journey boasts remarkable achievements, including NOLA Gospel Award wins, Stellar Awards appearances, top rankings on gospel charts, and appearances at the Dove Awards. I've graced stages alongside Tye Tribbett, Kierra "KIKI" Sheard, and Sho Baraka, leaving my mark on events, concerts, and media appearances nationwide. Yet, my impact transcends music, as I dedicate myself to annual outreach initiatives, toy drives, school rallies, mentoring, and community engagement.

The future shines bright for me as an artist. With goals to reach hundreds of thousands of youths and young adults with the message of Christ, hosting The God Life Experiences, forging meaningful partnerships, and continuing my mission of inspiration, I invite you to experience my unique blend of faith, culture, and music.
