About The TRIPLE SHOT Band

Jim Fleming (drums) began his drum career in 1960s playing with Drum and Bugle Corps in the greater Northwest. The competitions and parades ranged from the Seattle Touchlight Parade, Portland Rose Festival, all the way to the Disneyland festivals and parades. At the sweet age of 14 Jim begged his parents to drive him every week to the local YMCA to play on Wednesday and Saturday nights, it was all down hill from there... Jim has been blessed to tour and play concert dates with the likes of Rare Earth, Buchman Turner Overdrive, Journey, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hall and Oates, Elvin Bishop, The Romantics, Joan Jett and The Runways, Randy Newman, Wall of Voodoo, back up musician for Chuck Berry, Ted Nugent, and many, more, more. Jim's recording career spans from 1974 to present and has won numerous radio completions with several different projects that include the cities of Seattle, Denver, and LA. The most prestigious award was when Clive Davis of Capital Records pick a Blue Sky recording as Best Song and Studio Recording in Seattle. Drew Schneider (Lead Guitar) cut his guitar teeth in the South Florida music scene. He played saxophone throughout his high school career but his passion for the electric guitar quickly grew while listening to the rocordings by the Allman Bros: Live at the Filmore East, and ZZ Top's: Tres Hombres. Drew began touring Florida with the early 80's dance/rock bands. Boise and Seattle have been home to Drew since 2002; playing with Big Happy in Seattle, Billy G Camp Band; an all-original band from Boise and working with Shawn Brazel performing traditional gospel on both live and studio projects. Drew joined the Triple Shot band and Cooder Brown when he returned to Seattle. Kevin McKay (lead vocals & percussion) has a long history as an entertainer. Raised by clowns, he learned that there was no room for normalcy. Kevin, a Seattle native, studied music and drama at Central Washington University and has entertained as an actor, singer, drummer, puppeteer and clown. Triple Shot has allowed Kevin to be in front of the drum set and rock the house! Kevin is best known for adding powerful vocals to each set as well as perfect harmonization to Kelley's leads. Kevin also brings along his arsenal of auxiliary percussion instruments to add color and texture to many songs, as well as strapping on an acoustic guitar or harmonica to fill fill the empty spaces. Overall, Kevin is there to make sure the audience has fun, while he does the same. Jay Laush (keys and guitar) his name is Jay, but you can call him Miss Jackson if you're nasty. After dabbling with ocarina, sousaphone, and vibra slap, he has returned to the music lessons that permeated his young years and now uses his talents to provide godlike keyboard & guitar punctuation to the Triple Shot show. He has played everything from rock to jazz to funk and even musical theatre, which only proves he still hasn’t figured out what the hell he’s doing. At least when he's playing, he can't enthrall you with his latest pun or bit of musical trivia. Groove to his sounds, avoid his gaze during the breaks. You have been warned. Randy Jacobson (bass) is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed in 13 states and provinces over the years and has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Robert Palmer, Johnny Rivers, Teena Marie, the Pure Prarie League and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Classic rock with the essence and finesse of R & B. Rocking the Pacific Northwest!
