About Oh Malô
Oh Malô (pronounced oh–muh–LOW) are a four-piece band based in Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2014. Their unorthodox approach to experimental rock delivers an escalating, expansive sound accomplished through their usage of both traditional and electronic instrumentation. Swelling arrangements piece together a fragmented vocal narrative which is grounded by the driving rhythm section.
They met while studying at Berklee College of Music and soon after released their debut album As We Were. The group has since gone on to tour nationally and forge a strong following in the New England region. After undergoing some member changes, the band currently consists of Brandon Hafetz (guitar, vocals), Jack McLoughlin (guitar, vocals), Jordan Lagana (bass) and most recently Isaac Wang (drums, keys) whose addition ushered the band from the sound of their debut release towards one of greater balance between conventional and experimental timbres.
They met while studying at Berklee College of Music and soon after released their debut album As We Were. The group has since gone on to tour nationally and forge a strong following in the New England region.
