Zooash

"New Wave Adventure" Since the fall of 2010, the name Zooash has been synonymous with huge breaks, massive techno vibes and European nights filled with the sounds of acid. But Zooash isn’t just a new face in the scene. In fact, he’s worked on various electronica-projects since 2008, lending him prodigious production skill and veteran-status in the game. But Zooash doesn’t stop there; he is also one half of techno/electro duo “D!ZKO DANZE”, based in Dresden. On top of all that, Zooash is also a member of “CATBOT,” a Hyperjazz-Duo from Portland, OR. Yeah, this dude makes HYPERJAZZ when he’s not mixing pounding techno tracks or punching Grizzly bears in the mouth. These days, Zooash is enjoying considerable success, with his mixes receiving big support from the likes of Chromeo, Dem Slackers, Chromeo, Etnik, Beens, Wazabi, iPunk, Clash The Disko Kids, Audionite, Bobble, Volta, Dunjinz, Vecho, Flubba, Pump The Noise, SirKris, roeV and the crazy guys from Mako Records. Just in 2010, Zooash supported the Green Label Sound family on Chromeo’s “Business Casual Tour” alongside Holy Ghost!. He released in Summer/Fall 2011 on Freaks Like Us Records, Klangekstase Records and Èquinoxe Records his first remixes. Keep a look out for his upcoming premier debut EP and many more releases in 2012. ---------------------------------------- "New Wave Adventure" Zooash steht seit dem Frühjahr 2010 für abschreddernde Breaks, drückende Indievibes und acidbestückte Techno-Abende voller musikalicher Überraschungen im nationalen wie auch internationalen Raum. Hauptsache alle Synth's sind im roten Bereich, die Menge tobt und der Körper schwitzt sich im Takt aus. Musikalisch ist er aber schon länger unterwegs, tourt und arbeitet sich seit 2008 nun schon durch ganz Deutschland und auch Übersee. Im Sommer 2010 durfte er Chromeo auf seiner „Business Casual Tour “ bereichern und lässt den aufkommenden Hype um Ihn nicht abreißen. Außerdem sollte man in der Zukunft auf kommende Release und Remixes gespannt sein, denn selbermachen ist doch am geilsten. Er ist eine Hälfte vom Produzentenduo „D!ZKO DANZE“, welches nun in Dresden seine neue Basis bezogen hat. Zudem ist er auch die bessere Hälfte vom neuen Hyperjazz-Duo „CATBOT“ welches in Portland, Oregon beheimatet ist. Er veröffentliche im Spätsommer 2011 seine ersten Remixes auf den namenhaften Labels: Freaks Like Us Records, Klangekstase Records und Èquinoxe Records.
