Masaki Murashita

Masaki Murashita first showed his scorching riffs and powerful songwriting, along with his blistering and aggressive vocal style with the critically acclaimed modern thrash band Hemoptysis in 2007 and he has been clawing his way to the top ever since.
Combining elements of melody, thrash and modern extreme metal, Masaki has molded his own razor sharp brand of metal that is moving into the next stage of metal evolution.

MURASHITA is now releasing the debut solo EP, Inescapable Damnation, which features some of the top players in metal - including David Ellefson (Megadeth), Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Six Feet Under, Chimaira), Kelly Conlon (Death, Monstrosity), Rodney McGlothlin (Voice of Dissent) - and mixing by award-winning producer, Ryan Greene (Megadeth, NOFX).

Early previews of the new MURASHITA release performed on EMGtv were met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. The international tour to support Inescapable Damnation begins in Japan this coming September.

2007年にアリゾナ州フェニックスでメタルバンドHemoptysis (ヒモプティシス) を結成。2008年9月にEP、”Who Needs A Shepherd?”をリリースし、2009年、2010 年と2年連続でPhoenix Music AwardsにてMetal Artist of The Yearを受賞する等注目を浴び、2010年3月には世界最大の音楽祭SXSWに出演。

2011年3月8日、待望のフルアルバム、”Misanthropic Slaughter” をRyan Greene (Megadeth, NOFX, Hi-Standard) をプロデューサーに迎えリリース。発売同日に ドイツのRock It Up RecordsよりShadow of DeathのPVをボーナス特典とした ヨーロッパ盤の発売を発表後、同年5月27日にリリース。”Misanthropic Slaughter”は世界中のメタルレビューサイトにて60以上の好レビューを獲得し、 2012年にはIndependent Music AwardsにてM.O.D.がBest Hardcore/Metal Songを 受賞。2014年5月解散。

Hemoptysisのギターボーカルとして活動する間、Ryan Greeneの元でプロデューサー・エンジニアとしての経験を積み、2010年にはMegadeth “Rust In Peace Live”にてミックスアシスタントを務める。

2014年、ロサンゼルスに拠点を移した後、7月にソロプロジェクト”MURASHITA”での活動を表明。

2015年1月20日、ベーシスト、Kelly Conlon (Death, Monstrosity)、ドラマー、Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Six Feet Under)、ミキシングにはRyan Greeneを迎え、MURASHITA名義でのソロデューシングル、RETRIBUTIONを発売。夏にはデビューEPのリリースを予定している。
