The Anchor Creek

Comprised of high school friends Samuel Norbury (vocals & drums), Tom de Groot (guitar) and Dick Thole (bass), The Anchor Creek formed in 2012. Starting out the band mainly focused on playing blues rock tunes, already embracing a deep love for melody and the overall feel of a song. After releasing their debut album ‘Family’, the band started writing new material for their upcoming sophomore album. For this album the band achieved a unique sound by blending almost anything they love and making it their own. The new material feels more organic featuring energetic and heartfelt songs that include influences from folk, soul and rock music. Famous for their energetic live shows, the band loves to go out and take over stage after stage and may even throw in some complementary jokes here and there.
