Boasting five of Ireland’s most experienced gigging musicians the ubiquitous quintet is made up of Tony Ward (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals), Philip Joyce (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Bob Smith (Bass & Vocals), Bobby O’Hara (Keyboard & Vocals) and Stephen Reilly (Drums). Each member brings a unique set of talents and abilities to the group which pushes Bluemoose to a higher standard than most cover bands. Front man Tony Ward’s powerful voice and interaction with the audience is synonymous with a Bluemoose live show, his ability to hold a crowd in the palm of his hand is second to none. Lead guitar player Philip is the master of his instrument and provides blistering solos night after night that surpass the original recorded efforts. His pitch perfect falsetto voice also becomes the focal point for many songs during the set. Bass man Bob Smith is an undeniable funk master. He adds the low end groove to every number that gets you moving on the dance floor like it was 1964. Drummer Stephen Reilly is the backbone of the band, his rock solid playing and tasty chops is a spectacle in its self. He is one of Ireland's most well known drummers and has graced the stage at a huge number of prestigious events over the course of his career. Bobby O’Hara is the newest addition to the line up, after spending years at the mixing and lighting desk he has returned to the stage behind the keyboard and he doesn’t disappoint. His melodic riffs and subtle vamps add the missing piece to the Bluemoose puzzle and makes each song bigger and bolder than any four piece band could ever achieve.
