I love what I do and who I do it for........THE FANS! Music is my life and have been fortunate to do it for the last 20 yrs, playing everything from Rock to METAL! I've left my blood, sweat, and tears on every stage I've stepped on, from the hole in the wall watering holes to 20,000 seaters and everything in between. I give it everything I got all the time.Everyday is a new day and learning experience for me as a player, as a songwriter, as a lyricist/poet,as a human being. After 20 + years on the tour circuit playing bass for several bands, Kurt Arft is embarking on a new journey now strapping an acoustic guitar on and beginning his singer/songwriter career. Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, Kurt is ready to take his many years of writing, recording, and touring experiences to the next level. He is currently working on his debut album, set for release in the Fall of 2016, while also preparing for a heavy schedule of touring before and after it's release. Drawing from his many influences, his sound has elements of blues, rock, southern rock, hard rock, and even some metal in it. His motto is "OLD SCHOOL ATTITUDE"! Hard work, respect, integrity are all aspects he has carried and practiced throughout his entire career. And of course putting on the best show possible for all those in attendance.
