Laconic: the act of using very few words to express a concise idea. This five-piece metalcore band from Phoenix, AZ allows their music to speak for itself from the very first impression. Forming in 2003, Danny (Vocals), Sanjay (Guitar), Lee (Drums), Alex (Guitar), and Drew (Bass) have received notable success by producing an honest and aggressive resonance. Tying together influences such as Killswitch Engage, Deftones, and Chimaira, with an intriguing blend of rock influence, Laconic has been able to deliver powerful live performances that keep bands coming back. Fans note that the heavy polyrhythmic breakdowns, melodic choruses, and haunting guitar leads have allowed Laconic to sell over 2,000 copies of their debut album, Visions. Laconic has been able to thrive on this success, allowing them to go back into the studio with notable producer Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Walls of Jericho, Breaking Benjamin) and released their second album, For The Life Of One, in August 2011. The band is persistently touring, tapping into new fan bases and into the ears across the globe.
