In The Making

In The Making(TM)is an experimental instrumental metal band (that fits in it's own genre of "battlecore") that was formed in Kalkaska, Michigan in June of 2011 by Erik Hayes (Drums) and Carl Grifka (Rhythm Guitar). Several years later in 2016 they added Kyle Pruss (Bass) and Jerry Durham (Guitar). Soon thereafter Pruss had moved to Flint Michigan, causing him to leave the group. Durham's father was battling cancer, causing him to leave the group to care for his father. Joshua Duff (Lead Guitar) entered the picture in September 2016. Duff started out playing bass for his first event, at the Makerspace in Fife Lake, Michigan. The show was covered in the New York Times. Immediately after Duff switched to lead guitar, and the band employed the services of Taylor Vos (Bass). The band currently uses this line up.
