About The Julie-Ann Band

The Julie-Ann Band are a 5 piece acoustic, folk, blues band from Edinburgh, with a bit of a twist. Sounding a bit like The Knife with vocals that would impress Alanis Morrisette.

The band are inches away from releasing their first EP and are in the middle of writing their first Album.
Julie-Ann’s first influence in music was playing the bagpipes at the age of 7. This gave her a good set of lungs for her future singing career.
Last year was a busy one for the band, playing the BBC Castle tent stage at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, supporting The Infinity Parade’s Album Launch at Sneaky Pete’s, charity gigs at Mad Jammers Sessions in support of Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival and, headlining the Red Sessions at The Blind Poet.
