After Memphis

After Memphis...was formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded by Monaye Love, Jason O’Heron, and Jeremy Streit, (March, 2016). Stylistically likened to Alabama Shakes, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Suffers – to the unexpected – Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings by a diverse listening audience of all ages and groups. During the first couple of years..... after going through a few changes within the band, as well as the introduction of “Memphis” the iconic red Gibson E-335 used...After Memphis finally found that unique sound.

After Memphis, is a quartet ensemble band; electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, and has lead female vocalist with two supporting background vocalist. Lead singer & songwriter, Monaye Love is a powerhouse delivering powerful and dynamic vocals....the group writes & performs all-original music; with lyrical focus of love, peace, and joy. This musical ensemble, rooted in soul rock, while serving up a gumbo pot of upbeat, engaging, Americana; Funk, Rhythm & Blues.
