About Luke Million

Luke Million a.k.a. ‘The Synth Lord’ is an Artist and Producer from Adelaide, South Australia. For over 15 years, Luke has shared his love of vintage synthesizers and drum machines, beaming their analog waveforms over radio stations and dancefloors across the world. Luke crafted his own "Future-Retro, Cosmic, Disco-Synth Pop" sound with releases such as ‘Arnold’, ‘Heard it On The Radio’, ‘Light & Sound’, his wildly popular remix of the ‘Stranger Things Theme’ and his synthtastic concept album ‘Gina The Synth Cat’.

Luke has produced remixes for artists such as ‘The Kite String Tangle’, ‘Duke Dumont’, ‘Bananarama’, and ‘Client Liaison'. He has also leant his production and mixing skills to ‘I Know Leopard’, ‘Wanderers’, ‘Everchange’, ‘Kuya James’ and ‘Vast Hill’ as well as being a founding member of ‘The Swiss’ who were responsible for the nu-disco nugget “Bubble Bath”.

Luke has performed over 200 shows with appearances at festivals such as ‘Splendour in the Grass’, ‘Beyond The Valley’, ‘Lost Paradise’ and ‘Big Pineapple'. Expansion into Asia, NZ, Europe and the US with notable supports for Hayden James and Client Liaison has ensured all corners of the earth have experienced the love and passion for music that Luke embraces.

Luke’s presence in the music industry has also extended to various mentor programs and writing camps. Programs include APRA Songhubs, the Fresh 92.7 and MDO Producer Series, Helpmann Elevate Mentorship program and the Robert Stigwood Fellowship which Luke was an inaugural recipient in 2015.

‘The Synth Lord’ is no stranger to vintage synths and his studio collection boasts iconic classics like the Oberheim OB8, Sequential Prophet 5, Moog Multimoog, Arp Odyssey, Korg MS20, Roland Jupiter 4, Juno 6, SH2 just to name a few.

Luke has leapt into 2024 keeping himself busy in the studio composing a soundscape for the mirrored maze wonderland “Kaleidoscope” which was a hit at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He also mixed and co-produced Electric Field’s “One Milkali (One Blood)” which is Australia’s entry for Eurovision.
