The Sons of Rome

the sons of rome are an energetic indie pop band local to omaha, nebraska. comprised of three members: dylan j. lee [vocals, guitars, synths, producer], anthony flakus [drums] and live member, ian sullivan [bass]. the band was formed originally as a pop punk band in january of 2015 playing many shows as such until august of 2015. dylan began rotating through various members and styles until deciding to take a hiatus from playing shows in december to focus on writing and resetting. working diligently on writing for five months after stepping out of the music scene, dylan then added anthony to fill the position of drums; followed by ian on bass. practicing hard and writing rapidly. the trio had the honour of playing the 2016 summer showcase for the omaha entertainments and arts awards; creating the possible nomination and award for 'best new act' and best indie/alternative'. the group plans on releasing the band's first ep, 'don't you mind?' by the end of 2016.
