Angie Phillips, Ted Brady and Jennifer Grissop are no strangers to gospel music. God is opening doors, and Angie, Ted and Jennifer, along with their ministry team, are committed to walking through each one with expectancy. "We are blessed beyond measure and held securely in His grip of grace as we endeavor to walk in His will and fulfill the calling He has placed on our lives," adds Jennifer.

With each soprano note Angie delivers, you know without a doubt she knows who she is singing about. Heralding from a musical family, Angie traveled with The Wilson Family and Joyful Praise in addition to her solo dates. Angie shares, “Jenn and I met through our adoption stories. We are best friends and now we’re in ministry together. God is good!” Angie’s husband Scott is the group’s sound engineer and bus driver. Angie & Scott have been married 23 years and have two adopted children. The Phillips family calls Easley, SC home. When home from the road, you’ll find them at Cornerstone Community Church where Scott is the sound engineer and Angie leads the praise team.

Listen to his testimony or as he delivers a song and you soon realize Ted Brady is the "real deal". Born in Aberdeen, NC, the son of a Baptist preacher, Ted was the answer to his parent's prayers when he started "tinkering" on the piano at age 12 and playing for the church congregation just three weeks later. He joined his first group at the age of fifteen and fell in love with Southern Gospel Music. In 1993, while singing with the Kinsmen Quarter, he met his future wife, Beverly. Ted re-located to SC and they married a year later. Ted has 3 children: a son, Kevin and daughters, Makaylla and Madison. Angie shares, “He sings every part, so we can’t just say he’s our baritone singer! Plus, he plays piano, so yes, we’re very blessed to have Ted joining our ministry team!”

Jennifer, a four year graduate of Steve Hurst School of Music in Nashville, TN, sings alto and plays keyboard. Affectionately known as leather lungs, Jennifer sings her way into the audiences’ hearts every time she takes the platform. Before forming The Grissop’s with Angie, Jennifer traveled with True Love, Decree and as a soloist for 5 years. Her husband, Travis, is the group’s product manager. Travis & Jennifer have been married 15 years and have five adopted children. Jennifer wrote a song about their adoption journey called “Wrapped in Love”. The Grissop family calls Travelers Rest, SC home and is the Cornerstone Community Church where Jenn leads the praise team.

Angie, Ted & Jennifer are songwriters and enjoy finding time to co-write together. Their brand new LIVE DVD recording includes several original songs from their pen.

The Grissop’s have shared the stage with many talented artists and they have performed live on Dove Broadcasting’ NiteLine in Greenville, SC and Atlanta Live in Atlanta, GA. Their highly anticipated, brand new LIVE DVD/CD combo was released in July 2016. “Without Him”, a worship CD, was produced by Eddie Howard of Makkedah Music and released in December 2015. Their debut album “Alive & Well” was produced by Wesley Pritchard at MillWest Studios in Fayetteville, NC and released in 2014. Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV) We are a family, brother’s and sister’s in Christ, ordained for such a time as this to share the greatest story ever told – of Jesus and His love. Our desire is to see souls saved and lives changed – not because of us, because of Him!
