Since coming together in the spring of 2015 in Bozeman, Montana, Kickboxer has been rising on an upward swell of creative energy. Past experiences and lasting revelations form the stylistic basis for the melodic, yet dynamic sound that the trio generates. Drawing upon influences such as Modest Mouse, blink-182, Truckfighters, and Surfer Blood, the band effortlessly blends raw emotion with powerful metaphor. Becoming a conduit for melodies of euphoric understanding as well as frustrated confusion, Kickboxer's music is reverberating off the slopes of their mountain hometown and catching the ears of enlightened listeners universally.
