Cooki Turner was born into music honestly, and has been continuously increasing her skill for 25 years. Hailing from Oklahoma City, she credits her family for instilling in her the passion of her gift. No stranger to the stage, she has been in various performance and stage plays. Having sang in front of 100 to 10,000’s since the age of three, her mezzo-alto voice has been compared to many, but she states, “I’m just me, no one else.” She has done various background vocals for many artists such as Karen Clark Sheard, Case, Martina Mcbride, Trace Atkins, Vashawn Mitchell and more. She has also opened for talents artists such as Monica, Marvin Sapp, newcomer Dondria. In October 2013 she released her debut album titled “Heart of Me Vol.1”. Eager to expand her God given gift, Miss Turner says she marvels at the chance to grow musically in various arenas.
