EMIN Live

E M I N – a project that stretches from cloud rap to futurebass and jersey club, over to trap and hybrid, is a result of musical efforts by Levin Axu from Bergisch Gladbach. The young music enthusiast from the Rhineland, who has been making his rounds through the cologne bass music culture since 2012, proved himself as a reliable deliverer of everything inbetween hip hop and bass music through his own party entities (INSOMNIA, REQUIEM) and REVOLTE. Since joining the Bootshaus residents in 2014, he has been feeding the stereos with sounds of a wide variety, which more often create unusual and unique genre mixtures that can be placed anywhere between warm-up and after hour.

He himself describes this mixture with the words “THEM HOOD JAMS” and hints towards the roots of trap music. Even though he is still at the very beginning of his career, he has been able to share the deck with performers such as DIPLO, CARNAGE, YELLOW CLAW, SNAILS, SLANDER, OOKAY, ETC(!) ETC(!), MR. CARMACK, STÖÖKI SOUND, and other big names in the genre.
