About Ryan Gregory Floyd
Ryan is a folk rock singer-songwriter who moved from Bend, Oregon to New Orleans at the age of 17. He writes folk and country influenced ballads inspired by such heroes as Leonard Cohen and Neil Young. Love, lust, red wine, sapphic vampires, and Daenerys Targaryen are some common themes. Ryan is also an author of fiction and poetry, and his love of literature permeates his well-crafted and lyrical song stories.
Since 2014, Ryan has been a staple on the New Orleans music circuit, a Frenchmen/Marigny/Bywater regular. During that time he self-produced 4 LPs and 5 EPs. His debut studio LP is forthcoming in December.
In 2017, Ryan published his first book of fiction and launched an extensive tour throughout the eastern US as a solo act.
Since 2014, Ryan has been a staple on the New Orleans music circuit, a Frenchmen/Marigny/Bywater regular. During that time he self-produced 4 LPs and 5 EPs. His debut studio LP is forthcoming in December.
In 2017, Ryan published his first book of fiction and launched an extensive tour throughout the eastern US as a solo act.
