Black Market Empire are an indie rock n roll four piece from Birmingham, England and are renowned in their hometown for their storming live shows. They have played with The Moons, The Temper Trap, Bombay Bicycle Club, Viva Brother, The Bluetones, Nine Black Alps, The Lines, Crookes, Eugene McGuinness, Steve Cradock and recently launched the Birmingham 'Pretty Green' shop. They have played venues across the UK including several London shows including Proud Galleries, Mother Bar @333, Suyra and more. Comparisons to an eclectic range of influential artists have been made from The Kinks, The Beatles, Buzzcocks to Strokes to 1960's producer Joe Meek's strange sounds and more.
