The Crystal Clover are four fun, talented, and powerful performers that have been an explosion from the beginning.
The foursome specialises in sleek and stirring rock with captivating ambient soundscapes. The band’s name, with reference to a lucky clover and the purity of crystal, exudes a positive messaging fortified by Jordana’s powerful lyrics and vocals. Dan’s guitar playing compliments these melodic songs with nimble brilliance. He dynamically shifts between ethereal textured guitar and burly riffing with finesse.
Asen and Rich were the two missing links, A drummer and bassist who were sensitive to song dynamics and had musical flair. They shared the same musical perspective, along with the drive and passion to transform their lives for their love of music.
They are making a name for themselves across social media channels and gaining a fast-expanding fanbase. The Crystal Clover have been aired on numerous radio stations including: La Rocks Radio, Core FM Radio, Radio Home of Rock, Burning Station and several others. They also captured the interest of the BBC Introducing team who will be airing many Crystal Clover songs in the upcoming months.
It all began with the recording of their debut album, Fragments of Reality at their home studio – since then, they’ve become a music making machine that keeps growing.
The album, mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios was released in April 2016 on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music and many other online sellers.
Fragments of Reality is a ten-track musical mosaic that unpacks profoundly complex life lessons. It’s lean and carefully crafted to lead the listener on a sonic rollercoaster, which bursts forth with the soaring track “The Frat.” Here the band displays delicate passages that surge to goose-bump inducing choruses, a style that is embedded within the DNA of The Crystal Clover.
The single “Just Let Me Go,” which has been gaining popularity through its stunning companion video, tells the story of a woman in a very deep coma. The tender ballad “Home Again” is a time travel epic about a wife and a solider during the Civil War. The elegantly simple arrangement allows ample room for Jordana’s richly expressive vocals.
The identity of the band is unique; this is well reflected within the songs of their much anticipated second album One Spot to Black Panther. It is a deep, raw, emotional sound, accompanied by profound lyrics and vocals that touch right into your core. The Current track ‘Xpress’ is creating a similar wave of excitement to last year’s ‘Pulse’
The Crystal Clover’s live shows are energetic, heartfelt and intense; with the audience consistently left captivated by their performance and always full of praise. They evoke the majestic rock of U2, Muse and Queen.
They have headlined at Proud Camden, The Half Moon and Islington’s O2 Academy amongst others.
The band’s pursuit for the best sound is also deliberately present across all areas of their image: the album cover, merchandising, videos, personal presence, website and social media platforms. This quest for perfection demonstrates they truly are the perfect package.
