About Barrie-James O'Neill Fans

Barrie James O'Neill (born 20 December 1987) aka Nightmare Boy, aka BAZ is a Scottish singer, songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. He was founder and frontman of Kassidy (2008-2013), a Scottish alternative folk rock band. The band consisted of Barrie-James O'Neill (vocals, guitar), Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar), Lewis Andrew (vocals, guitar, accordion, keyboard) and Chris Potter (vocals, guitar).

The band toured with Lana Del Rey on her Paradise Tour in Europe, in 2013 and after that, Barrie-James left the band and moved to Los Angeles. He adopted the stage name "NiGHTMARE BOY" and as a solo artist he has released two singles and an EP.

His first single Mary/Paranoid was released in February, 2014. Later that year, in July, he signed with BMG Music Publishing.

Barrie-James co-wrote "Brooklyn Baby", a song featured in Lana Del Rey's album Ultraviolence and duetted with her on a cover of Lee Hazlewood's Summer Wine. In September 2015 Riverside, a song written by O' Neill featuring Del Rey, was leaked.

On January 27th, Pitchfork premiered the video for his first single Chivalry Is Alive And Well And Living In Glasgow, directed by Joe Rubalcaba and featuring actress Holy Marilyn Solem. On March 24th 2015 he released online his debut HATE EP featuring four songs and on May 8th Tidal premiered his short film called SCUMBaG, directed by Joe Rubalcaba. His first solo album NiGHTMARE BOY was set to be released later that year but was cancelled.

Barrie-James then announced that NiGHTMARE BOY is dead. He used BAZ for a short time and then started using his full name Barrie-James O'Neill.

His first album COLD COFFEE was streaming for 24h on January 31st 2016 at Barrie's official site and was released on April 8th 2016 via all online platforms.

His second highly anticipated album, Psychedelic Soup is expected in 2020.
