About Siren and the Sea
Cristina Cano is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter dedicated to creating vibrant, melodic soundscapes, as well as engaging intimate and vulnerable experiences through performance. She has recorded and toured internationally with Sallie Ford, Albatross, and other artists. Siren and the Sea was formed in 2010 as her personal songwriting project. “Siren and the Sea has a way with honest music. Cristina Cano's voice, haunting and unflinching, walks from song to song with the self possessed confidence that comforts you as uninhibited lyrics escape her lips.”(The Deli Mag). Siren and the Sea features the lush instrumentation of Erik Clampitt on Pedal Steel and Guitar, Ayal Alves on Synths, Ethan Fox Tucker on Bass, and Judd Kennedy Harris on Drums.
