Joey DeFrancesco

As he’s made abundantly clear over the past 30 years, Joey DeFrancesco has plenty of soul. Today, his music embodies the traditional art form infused with a distinct modern approach. Credited with the resurgence of the organ in jazz, DeFrancesco has secured the sound for generations to come. Not only an organist, Joey is a multi-instrumentalist, a trumpet player and tenor saxophonist.
The five time Grammy® Award-nominee has received countless awards worldwide and recorded with numerous legendary musicians in addition to leading his own bands. DeFrancesco also hosts a weekly program on SiriusXM Radio's Real Jazz channel titled "Organized."
