prettygirlhatemachine is an independent hip hop crew hailing from Des Moines, IA. They have been creating and performing their brand of rap music since 2009. The group consists of three members. Emcees, Toby Diligent and D Average, as well as DJ Touchnice currently handling duties on the turntables. Their music is very influenced by the boom bap 90’s rap era that they grew up on, and also the indie hip hop movement of the early 2000s. With those influences meshed with their own personal life experiences and midwest upbringing, they have crafted a sound that is unique to themselves. Since their inception, the group has released 4 projects, and has toured regionally 5 times, among many other shows, festivals, etc. The guys are currently working on a new album, and have no plans on slowing down anytime soon.
