About By His Blood
By His Blood was formed in 1999 as a request to help lead worship for the mid-week prayer service. The original members were Jerry Church (Baritone); Bob McVay (Tenor); Danny Edwards (Lead) and Dean Short (Bass). From that worship service, God has blessed and guided us on a path that none of us had envisioned.
In 2013, Jerry Church stepped away from BHB as God was leading him to return to solo ministry. After much prayer and consideration, God led us to a small Kannapolis church where we met Keith Flack. We invited Keith to join us at a rehearsal and little did we know that Keith and his wife, Carol, had been praying that Keith could return to quartet singing. Keith joined By His Blood in January, 2014 for his first concert which happened to be at the same small Kannapolis church where we first met.
