Flavia Krishna & Gershone

Krishna&Gershone are travelling around the country and Brazil Bound in summer 2016
spreading Light through the Sacred Sounds of Music since October 2015.

Krishna is originally from Brazil, and felt the Magic of sound vibrations her entire Life.

As an avid seeker of Truth, her path lead her in the early 90's, to live as a monk for 6 years within the Bhakti Yoga tradition established by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Living in the ashram brought the opportunity to deepen her devotion and immerse herself in a life dedicated to chanting, meditation, and service.
Love for Kirtan was born in her Heart!

Krishna is involved with an incredible group of Brazilian musicians called Canarios Brancos (White Canaries), who are leading a movement of Unity and Healing through sacred songs in praise of Divine Mother, and the various expressions in which Divinity manifests.

She is inspired and excited to be awakening and sharing this serving with All.

Gershone Hendelberg has been a touring musician since 2002. Touring the country with the reggae band DubConscious, out of athens GA, they got to open up for many a reggae legend, such as Burning Spear, Culture, Yellowman, The Wailers, and Steel Pulse, to name a few.

In 2009, DubConscious slowed down, and Gershone became involved with the mantra beat dance group, Rahasya. Doing several touring runs all over the country, including Bhaktifest and Bonnaroo, the next several years were touring and recording with Rahasya.

Gershone then went on to dip his toes in the world of north indian classical music. This brought him to India for almost 6 weeks to dive deeper into the vibration of Indian culture and music. Coming back from India, Krishna and Gershone started to lead kirtan events all over the southeast and Colorado.

In addition to playing harmonium and a little guitar with Krishna&Gershone, Gershone continues to play keyboards for a variety of groups. Recently, he was invited to play at ShaktiFest in Joshua Tree CA with the reggae kirtan group Ananda Rasa Kirtan(David Estes), and also played with the soulful Portland Oregon based Johanna Beekman.

Gershone has also worked with and played keyboards for Wah!, David Newman, Blue Spirit Wheel, Mantra Ma, and Phil McWilliams.
