Skylar Kaylyn

I am a 20-year old Christian singer/songwriter from a small town in Wyoming. I started my career in 2012, when I released my debut album "La La La" and the music video to my song "Happy Ever After." I released my second album, "In My Head," in 2014...a good representation of my developing style - a mix between Colbie Caillat and Taylor Swift, with hints of Francesca Battistelli and Jamie Grace thrown in...they have all been extremely influential in my singing and writing career. My third album, "This Is Love" released October 7, 2016. These songs are directly from my heart to yours, singing about God's great love for us and how that translates into the relationships all around us. Since starting my ministry, I have enjoyed traveling & singing at churches, youth events, festivals and community celebrations across the country since. Some of my most memorable events have been opening for bands such as Citizen Way, Chris August, Jonny Diaz and Unspoken, singing with Citizen Way and Cadence at the annual historic Red Rocks Easter Sunrise Service, and singing at festivals such as LifeLight, Hills Alive, Ignite, Nehemiah Fest, Connection Music Festival, Hope Fest and the Reach Out Music Fest. I recently married Jason Ferris of the band Bread of Stone and we travel together with his band, sharing new adventures of production and ministry.
