About the noSEEums

The Noseeums are an up and coming Progressive Bluegrass/Americana/Funky Jamband from the mountains of Taos, New mexico!

Since their inception in November of 2017, they're growing reputation has led to a rising following of enthusiastic fans in the southwest.

Their unique and creative sound is inspired by various styles of music. They unite rock and roll, funky rhythms, and old school groove with a progressive bluegrass sound. Their approach to their playing style is comparable to the groovy, revolutionary jam-bands of old, such as "The Grateful Dead", and the high octane modernly dynamic, and improvisational ensembles of today's sold out festivals, such as "Railroad Earth".

Their own energetic ensemble, all hailing from the same down home, americana roots of the southwest, is composed of the best talent this area has to offer. From banjo to fiddle, to electric tenor guitar and bass, to keyboards, drums, and acoustic strings, a wide variety of instrumentation and unmatched chemistry on stage supports an inventive and expansive sound.

Their lead vocals and distinctive harmonies soften and inspire listeners.

Their creative and meaningful lyrics, give power to their expressive rhythms and melodies.

A true "band" with growing chemistry. Friends that have evolved together in music over the years, playing locally at bluegrass jams, and concert events.

With a growing fan base, they've most notably shared the stage with the biggest and most successful names in their genre, including "Leftover Salmon", "The Lil Smokies", "Liver Down The River", and are lined up to play at this years Music on the Mothership festival, with headliners "Railroad Earth", "Infamous Stringdusters", and more!
