Out Amongst the Masses (usually shortened to just OATM) current lineup was built on the foundation left by several prominent St. Louis bands. Each member bringing a unique sound and style to the fold. The result is a diverse array of sound with no boundaries or limitations.

Setting them apart are their unique use of three-part vocals, soulful lyrics and layered guitars that add an element of depth that isn't seen often in the modern rock scene. Underneath, the rhythm section creates infectious, yet tight grooves that provide that lay the foundation for things.
