The Black Cubes

Die Black Cubes, gegründet 2013, sind ein Berliner Rocktrio in klassischer Besetzung. Drei Leute (Vocals/Guitar, Bass und Drums) spielen eine äußerst erfrischende Mischung aus Garage, Psychedelic, Rock 'n' Roll und Punk. Jeder Akkord, jeder Beat ihrer Musik atmet den Geist der 60er Jahre, die Wucht des Punkrock und das Jammern des Blues. Genau daraus ergibt sich diese herrliche Melange aus schäumenden Gitarrenriffs, ausgeklügelten Basslicks und einem harten Drumbeat. Stampfender Blues-Punk trifft auf Psychedelic um kurz darauf von astreinem Garage-Rock davon gepustet zu werden. Dazwischen schlängeln sich gefühlvolle Melodien — immer auf der Hut vor dem nächsten peitschenden Refrain. Gepaart mit den düster-philosophischen Lyrics ergibt sich das Gesamtbild einer wahrhaftigen saftigen Rockband.


The Black Cubes, founded in 2013, are a three-piece from Berlin, Germany in classic line. Three people (Vocals / Guitar, bass and drums) play an extremely refreshing blend of garage, psychedelic, rock 'n' roll and punk. Every chord, every beat of their music breathes the spirit of the 60s, the force of punk rock and the wail of the blues. This results in exactly this magnificent blend of sparkling guitar riffs, sophisticated bass licks and a hard drum beat. Stomping blues punk meets psychedelic for just a bit later to be blown out of knotless garage rock. In between soulful melodies trail — always on the lookout for the next whipping chorus. Coupled with the dark philosophical lyrics, the overall picture of a true succulent rock band arises.
