The Elders

The venue...well, it is 5 Points. Take the Light Rail...the stop is basically at their front door. This is a venue that is very party friendly...room to sit, room to dance. The drinks are very reasonably priced! And the Elders...well...they never disappoint! Their set was a nice mix of older and newer stuff. Despite the small venue. they played their hearts out...you'd have thought they were playing to a packed stadium. And, Diana Ladio...if you want some serious fiddle, she's the lady for it! I may have mentioned this to Ian: I would love to see an I-70 Series tour...The Elders representing Kansas City and JigJam repping St. Louis, with a bit of trad between their sets where Kevin and Diana could face off. Hey, universe, ya listening???

The Elders are a very talented group of not only Celtic Rock musicians but talented musicians period. I've seen them five times and each time the crowd is fully engaged on the dance floor. The Hooley For Autism in South Bend IN wouldn't be the spectacular event it is without our Irish friends, The Elders.
