Shilan

“Timeless, elegant, original, and ground-breaking” have been uttered and written to celebrate the gospel phenomenon that is Shilan Douglas. In addition to being a singer, Shilan is a producer, a coach, and a performer. She is also an Indiana University graduate that went on to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.
As a performer, she has established and grown a significant audience domestically and internationally. At age 3, Shilan began singing in her hometown of New Albany, IN, just north of Louisville, KY. .
Due to the rich blend of Southern and Midwestern outlooks on music, the church, and community, Shilan engendered a rich mettle of vocal skills and range that later would move souls, worldwide. Shilan’s voice has transcended culture, language, and religion. She may be a gospel vocalist by trade, but she sings to the soul of humanity by providence, destined to be a force in the music world and a friend to people from all walks of life.
