About Shane Gamble

Shane Gamble Artist Profile If Shane Gamble’s new single “Beautiful Work,” hasn’t captivated you yet, there is a very good chance it will. A Maryland native, Gamble embodies what it means to be a working musician. Shane attacks his guitar with passion and sings jangly songs about the good times with a distinctly American feel. Close your eyes and imagine if Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen were to emerge now on Country radio, then added a modern twist... that's Shane. In 2013, Shane enjoyed the success of his debut album and the Top 10 single, “Turn My Way,” a pop/country tune that is equal parts punchy and poignant. Thanks, in part, to "The Highway," the groundbreaking SiriusXM country music channel, Shane has been able to crash the party as an independent artist, garner new fans across the globe, and make a splash in the music industry crowd. Shane is back with his much-anticipated sophomore effort, American Heart — 12 tracks that showcase his rare ability to seamlessly blend Country, Rock, Pop and Americana. Shane spent nearly two years perfecting the songs on American Heart, co-writing lyrics with heavy-hitting Nashville players like Derric Ruttan, Andrew Dorf and Zac Molloy. In studio, Gamble worked closely with Rick Beato, who not only produced “Turn My Way,” but also produced albums by NEEDTOBREATHE, Shinedown and Charlie Mars, as well as Parmalee’s number one hit, “Carolina.” Shane has come a long way since his humble roots in rural Maryland, and shows no signs of slowing down. He remembers vividly when he slept in his car on lunch breaks while working as a substitute teacher. “I was playing shows at night, sometimes 300 to 400 miles away, somehow I’d pull it together to teach during the day. Now I can sing about those trying times.” ----- Take one look at Shane – tousled hair, a worn denim shirt, leather boots, and an acoustic guitar slung across his shoulders – and you know that he believes in what music can do for the mind and the spirit. Shane attacks his acoustic guitar with remarkable energy and sings from the depths of his soul with earnest conviction. ----- This passion runs throughout American Heart. It’s an album that finds him combining radio-friendly boot-stompers with acoustic ballads — all of which resonate with Nashville cats and New York City hipsters alike. While expertly polished, the album takes nothing away from the intimacy and warmth that make Shane’s music so appealing. “You know, it’s not about perfection, at least not sonic perfection,” shares Shane. “I’m trying to capture something unique. I want somebody to hear my music and have it be something they’ve never heard before. I want it to stand the test of time.” Quotes: “Shane's music...adds something missing that could be that elusive next big thing” - David Ross, Music Row Magazine “We have a huge country hit on our hands” - John Marks, Sr. Director of Country Programming, SiriusXM “ ...perfect for the highway ahead, as a prelude to a night on the town, or as a perfect complement to closed blinds and an open bottle of wine.” - Aaron Cunningham, OnTap “When I first took a listen, I immediately noticed Shane’s soulful tone...powerful yet melodic, Shane is going places” - Julian, Evening Personality, WIHT-FM, DC Social Media: Web: http://www.shanegamble.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/shanegambleofficial Twitter: @shanegamble Radio Promotions: Jerry Duncan Promotions: jerry@duncanpromo.com 615.329.1032 Jay Thomas Radio Promotions jaythomaspromo@gmail.com 703.888.1826 Booking/Management/Media: Booking: booking@shanegamble.com Management: management@shanegamble.com Media: media@levelbest.com Singer, Songwriter, Musician. www.shanegamble.com
