About Rappin' 4-Tay

Rappin' 4-Tay (born Anthony Forté on March 2, 1968) is an American rapper from San Francisco, California best known for the track "Playaz Club" from his album Don't Fight the Feeling. He debuted on the Too $hort album Life Is...Too Short but soon after the album release, 4-Tay was arrested on drug charges. After his sentence was completed Rappin' 4-Tay Is Back!!! 1992), followed by "Feeling" and its hit. While the albums won him a devoted fanbase, especially in the San Francisco area, his mainstream success was scarce, although he was featured in 2pac's "Only God Can Judge Me." In 1995 (see 1995 in music), 4-Tay released I'll Be Around, then Off Parole (1996, 1996 in music), 4 tha Hard Way (1997, 1997 in music), Introduction to the Mackin (1999, 1999 in music), and the re-release of Off Parole (2002, 2002 in music)). Gangsta Gumbo was released in 2003.
