Fun night, very talented musicians. Being a release show they played their original stuff ( very good btw) then took us on a ride with some fantastic covers. This is a great venue, very intimate and these guys & girl played their asses off. Go see this band !

About Greg Jones Project

It all started on a Saturday morning…1977…Levittown, NY on Long Island. The Television dial was set to PBS Channel 13 as they were transitioning from their morning children's programming to a routine monthly plea for public funding. That’s where a 6 year old boy who had, more likely than not, just finished sitting through Sesame Street or “The Magic Garden” was watching the talking head on the screen who was describing the evening program selection. They would be broadcasting the film of 1967’s Monterey Pop Festival. They cut to a clip of Otis Redding performing as a voice over described the film, and how important it is for “contributors like you to call and pledge now” to be able to bring programming like this to it’s viewing audience…but for Greg….The only thing of importance was the music he heard….everything except the voice of Otis Redding and his Blue Suit simply vanished…and time stood still. He thought, “That’s what I want to do for my job” and that’s where the Journey begins…. Greg Jones has been writing, performing and working his way up through the musical cracks of notoriety for over 2 decades… Whether it’s in front of 5 people at a local tavern(waitstaff included) or on a festival stage in front of thousands…his intent never varies. He plays just as hard, sweats just as much…making sure he injects each and every person watching the performance with a sonic dose of emotional energy to make the hair stand up on the back of their necks. In 2001, Greg put music on hold for many years when he and his spouse moved back to her home of Southern New Jersey. They bought a house and started a family. He played occasional shows over this period of time…once or twice a year at most, just to satiate the itch of performing live music for an audience. He really wanted to focus on being a Dad to his 2 daughters, and as they naturally grew more and more less dependent on him…that itch to play became more and more present. Since the release of his debut album in 1999 Like a Movie, Greg has written dozens of song and always wanted to record them. Fast forward to 2014, he can’t wait any longer. All consumed with finally recording and releasing his next offering. The most engaging acoustic guitarist/singer-songwriter you have at your disposal. Have you seen him play live yet? What the hell are you waiting for?
