Biography
AyseDeniz completed her Masters in Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the tutelage of Christopher Elton, and received her Bachelors Degree at Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY, studying with Douglas Humpherys. In her early teens, she also had the chance to study with Rosalyn Tureck, becoming one of her last students.
AyseDeniz was considered a child prodigy in her native Turkey and made her concerto debut when she was nine, with the Gordion Chamber Orchestra playing J.S. Bach’s Keyboard Concerto No. 5. At thirteen, she had already performed as a soloist with more than a dozen of orchestras. Since then, she has played in major festivals around the world, including Moscow’s Musical Kremlin Festival, California’s Wavelength Festival; Sofia’s Piano Extravaganza Festival; 38th and 41st International Istanbul Music Festival; 31st International Ankara Music Festival; Gouveia Art Rock Festival and Piano City Milan. She has appeared on various TV channels, radio stations and magazines including Classic FM, CNN Turk, NTV, TRT, The Voice of Russia, International Piano Magazine, Andante, Opus, Vogue Turkey and Prog Rock Magazine.
After three of her piano arrangements of Pink Floyd songs in the style of Franz Liszt went viral, AyseDeniz attracted the attention of the progressive rock listeners, and was featured on Pink Floyd’s official Facebook and Twitter pages. Upon the requests of fans, she completed a full album called "Pink Floyd Classical Concept", which has been released on iTunes, and in limited hardcopy edition.

Recently she has won the Argentinian Association of Cable Television Music Award with the show from the “Pink Floyd Classical Concept Album” release gala concert in Argentina, and has traveled to Bulgaria, Ecuador, Portugal, Italy and Turkey to perform these arrangements for classical and progressive rock audiences. She has also played at the gala of TatliDil Forum (a conference aiming at strengthening and institutionalising the civil dialogue between Turkey & the UK) in November 2014 to which Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the former president of Turkey as well as royalties, business leaders, distinguished professors and lawmakers attended.

Her last album Nirvana Project, which merges classical-grunge and electronic beats of the music producer/DJ Ivan Shopov, dedicated to Kurt Cobain was released in November 2015 and reached the UK Top 10 Classical Charts on iTunes.

The modern dance project Close Up with Editta Braun Company, which AyseDeniz wrote original music for and arranged & performed Thierry Zaboitzeff's music premiered in Vienna, Salzburg, Edinburgh and was very well received by the Austrian and Scottish Press.

AyseDeniz is currently working on two new albums: one of classical hits, and her own compositions; and one surprise cover project of a rock/pop group.

Pink Floyd resmi sitesinde, AyseDeniz’in aranjmanlarından “Günümüze kadar Pink Floyd şarkılarının binlerce yeni düzenlemeleri yapıldı. Ancak, grubun 3 parçasına getirilen yeni yaklaşım, klasik muzik dünyasınin hayal gücünü uyandırdı. Londra Kraliyet Akademisi’nde yüksek lisansını bitiren genç Türk piyanist Ayşedeniz Gökçin, Floyd'un müziğini " Liszt" tarzinda yeniden yorumladı.” diye bahsedildi. Bunun ardindan binlerce prog-rock hayraninin ilgisini cekti ve Pink Floyd Classical Concept albumu ordaya cikti. Eserleri California “Wavelength”; Sofya “Piano Extravaganza”, Arjantin Chacabuco “El Cine Espanol”; Portekiz Gouveia Art Rock; Italya “Piano City Milan”, Ekvator; Istanbul ve Ankara Muzik Festivallerinde icra etti.

Avusturya’da Editta Braun Dance Company icin besteledigi “Close Up”, Viyana, Salzburg ve Manipulate Festival Edinburgh'da promiyerini yapmis olup, 18 Mart’ta Posthof Linz’te devam edecektir.

Kurt Cobain’e ithaf ettigi “Nirvana Project” Albumu ise Kasim 2015’de piyasaya cikmis, Birlesik Krallik’taki iTunes En Iyi Klasik Albumler’de ilk 10’a girmistir.



Su an AyseDeniz yeni iki album uzerinde calismaktadir: ilki klasik hit'ler ve kendi besteleri; ikincisi ise surpriz bir rock/pop grubuna ithafen yaptigi proje.
