Psychic Twin

Psychic Twin is the dreamy synth-pop solo project of songwriter and producer Erin Fein. Her songs typically feature lush synthesizers, propulsive beats, and looped backup vocals inspired by singers like Kate Bush, Annie Lennox and Grace Jones. Originally from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, she began writing and recording solo material during the early 2010s, taking the name Psychic Twin as she found herself channeling energy that led her to believe that she was spiritually collaborating with her ‘other self’ or non-existent twin. Erin’s first release was 2012 single ‘Gonna Get Her,’ as a 7". Following a difficult divorce, she moved to Brooklyn in 2013, and released her second single, ‘Strangers.’ Over the next few years, Fein documented her life experiences with her songwriting, and the live iteration of Psychic Twin shifted several times. Remix EP ‘Chrome Sparks Meets Psychic Twin’ preceded Erin’s debut full-length, ‘Strange Diary’, in September 2016. Erin has since relocated to Los Angeles, she released her first single from new material, Water Meets Land, on October 11, 2019 and is working on her second album, slated for release in 2020.
