DJ DEELIGHT

Deejaying since 1998, Deelight is one of the greatest resident Dj’s in Portugal. He passed by the most reputable summer clubs in Portugal, such as, Meo Spot and Sasha Summer Sessions in Algarve and he is currently Lick’s (that won the prize for best nightclub in Portugal 2018) and NoSoloÁgua Portimão (home of the best summer beach parties in Portugal, like The BPM Festival) resident DJ.

Alongside with this residencies, Deelight has also performed as invited artist in the best venues and events what makes of him, today, a well-known name in the Portuguese nightlife and music scene.

Among many other festivals and parties all over the country in which he participated in, we highlight the Summer Party of TVI (Portuguese leading television channel), the festival ‘Carlsberg, where is the party?’, the ‘White night party’ in Loulé (known as the end of summer uber-party in Portugal), the 25th Anniversary of ‘Continente’ (major Portuguese retail chain) (which attracted an audience of about 80.000 people), the MTV Portugal Anniversary (several times). Dj Deelight is also renowned amongst young Portuguese audiences, they dance to his beats during their spring break trips to south of Spain.

2017 began on a high for Deelight, with a performance in one of the Portugal’s best new year party, the ‘Porto Reveillon’, in the fantastic and ancient Monastery of S. Bento da Vitória, in Oporto. It was so good that he repeated it in 2018.

During 2017, Deelight made around 200 gigs in some of the best Portuguese events of the year (literally), where he have shared the limelight with artists like Skunk Anansie, Erick Morillo, Kura, Natiruts, Claptone, Black Coffee, Giorgio Moroder, Oliver Heldens, among others. He worked for brands like MTV, Mercedes, Guess, Moet & Chandon, Accenture, Control, Grey Goose, among many others

Deelight is characterized by a mainstream and tasteful sound, always housy and looking to create a perfect twist between modern and classic. It is, as the artist says: ‘Let’s dance and sing, with a smile on our face and an arm in the air!’

Deelight smells like Summer, no matter what season of the year it is!
