Gareth Leach

Country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gareth Leach was born in Melbourne and raised in the rural Victorian town of Echuca.

Growing up on the banks of the mighty Murray River, Gareth's love for music was inspired and nurtured his parents. A clear and unmistakable talent, he became a highly competent pianist by his teenage years.

After finishing school, Gareth made the move back to Melbourne to further pursue his musical ambitions. For many years Gareth played in rock bands, touring the country and honing his craft in pubs the length and breadth of Australia.

While releasing albums and touring with various bands, Gareth became an audio engineer producing, recording and engineering/assisting on countless others (including ARIA Award nominated records); With an ever expanding library of songs under his belt, 2016 saw Gareth turning his focus to recording his debut country rock record. With a DIY attitude and never wavering drive to succeed ­ the results speak for themselves.

Written, recorded and performed by Gareth, his forthcoming debut EP “Settle Like Stones”; is the real deal. This is what modern country rock is all about.
