[FR] Formé en 2009, LIES s'est rapidement fait un nom dans la scène Rock-Métal en imposant un style original mêlant mélodie et puissance, faisant graviter de nombreuses influences telles que le Metal, la musique progressive des années 70, la musique électronique, la Pop, tout cela autour d'un Rock solide et technique. Leur musique a su conquérir un public varié en France comme à l'étranger lors notamment d'une tournée Européenne avec le mythique STUCK MOJO. Fin 2010 commence une collaboration entre LIES et Lord Nelson (chanteur de Stuck Mojo), ce qui aboutira à la sortie d'un album "Fight" sous le nom de "Lord Nelson Feat Lies", suivit de quelques concerts en France notamment avec Skindred (organisés par Garance Production) et en Espagne, en attendant une tournée en Europe et aux états-unis qui est actuellement en préparation. Le premier album de LIES, distribué par le label M&O, reçu un très bon accueil de la part des critiques comme en témoignent de nombreux articles et chroniques. Après une année d'audition afin de trouver le chanteur idéal, LIES revient en 2013 avec son deuxième album, signé chez le Label indépendant SEND THE WOOD MUSIC. Certains titres ont déjà été rodés sur scène lors d'une tournée avec Sybreed. Ce nouvel opus présente un style beaucoup plus ciblé, plus organique et moins électronique, laissant une nouvelle fois la priorité aux mélodies tout en gardant une puissance assurée et maîtrisée. Il est l'heure à présent d'aller défendre ces nouveaux titres sur scène. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [EN] Formed in 2009, LIES has quickly found its place in the Rock-Metal scene with an original style mixing melody and power, taking its influences in many genres such as Metal, progressive music of the Seventies, electronic music, Pop music, but keeping roots in a solid and technical Rock. Their music reached a wide public in France and abroad when the band took part in an European tour with the mythical US band STUCK MOJO. At the end of 2010, LIES and Lord Nelson (singer of STUCK MOJO) started a collaboration called "Lord Nelson Feat Lies", which led to the release of the album "Fight". The project has played some shows in France in particular with Skindred (organized by Garance Production) and in Spain, and is now preparing a tour in Europe and in the United States. The first album of LIES was distributed by M&O Label and received a very warm welcome by criticisms as many reviews can show. After one year searching for the right singer, LIES is now back in 2013 with its second album, signed on the Independent label SEND THE WOOD MUSIC. Some of the titles have already been played on stage during a tour with SYBREED. This new opus provides a much more targeted style, more organic and less electronic, letting once again the priority to the melodies while keeping huge and controlled power.
