Astro Jackson

Mat Churchill, Eric Ellis, Adam Newton, and Kyle Vanderveen have opened for acts like the Eli Young Band, Frankie Ballard, Paramalee, and The Band Perry while playing with Steve Rivers, but their interests stray far beyond country music. Hoping to create a band with a unique sound that wasn't tied down to any one genre, the group known as Astro Jackson was formed. Playing a mix of pop, rock, country, and Americana, Astro Jackson appeals to a wide audience, and their talent and energy is obvious from the first to last song.

Mat Churchill, a successful singer/songwriter in his own right, lays down the bass like a pro, and his vocals lend unique harmonies that you won't hear from the average band.

Eric Ellis holds everything together on drums and keeps the energy going all night with his aggressive style, leading the rest of the band on a journey of sonic bliss.

Adam Newton pumps out the lead vocals and guitar, his range allowing Astro Jackson to tackle a diverse set of songs.

Kyle Vanderveen is a walking guitar machine, taught by Jack Pearson himself. His chops help shape Astro Jackson's unique sound.
