Can music saves lives? According to the members of Resistance 13 it can do more than just saves lives. It can create movement, reflect emotion, find closure, change perspective, motivate and inspire. It’s a message filled with hope, perseverance, determination, resilience, empathy, unity, and unconditional love for another. It's an upbeat message full of positivity with one core principle, LOVE CONQUERS ALL. They've pushed that element of love, positivity, and integrity to the farthest region of their area to make an impact in the community. In their time as a musical act they have managed to raise thousands of dollars for their local homeless coalition, generate funding for cancer research and assisted in organizing a group of individuals for community cleanup and restoration. Along with the theme of Music Saves Lives and Love Conquers all comes an additional message that Resistance 13 has stated loudly, GENEROSITY IS INFECTIOUS. Their first full length album Surviving the Fall was a huge success selling over 1,200 copies in the first year and has already generated a multitude of hype regionally and nationally. It also assisted in generating recognition, allowing them to open for a number of national acts regionally. Recently there has been tidal wave of support surrounding the band. Their newest EP, The Ocular Truth is set to release in September and has generated an astounding amount of hype creating a new wave of insurgence within the band. In July their first official music video was released for their brand new single, Little Sister. In one months time the song has reached close to 60,000 people, received nearly 5,000 views, and has extended as far as Mexico and South Korea.
