The Phonographs

The Phonographs at their heart are an American alternative rock band, hailing from Chicago, IL. Intertwined within the depths of Rock N’ Roll, Pop, Folk, and Blues births a band who strives to connect old souls with new souls. Binding humans together and uniting people of all levels of society is an aspiration of these musicians. Writing, performing and recording their songs on a fresh bed of 60s-70s style rock n’ roll with an ever-evolving eagerness to experiment, to expand minds and hearts with sonic fusion.

The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Big Star, Badfinger, Simon and Garfunkel, Elliot Smith, Ryan Adams, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, AC/DC, Wilco, The Redwalls, JET, The Racontuers, The Black Keys, The Black Crowes, The Greenhornes, Vintage Trouble, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Miles Kane, Arctic Monkeys, Beady Eye, Oasis, The Wild Feathers, Alabama Shakes, Jake Bugg, Brenden Benson, The White Stripes, Jack White, Purple Melon and many others.
Each member of the band has had the opportunity to play on big stages and at notable venues all over the country including but not limited to: The House of Blues Chicago, The Rosemont Theater, The Genesee Theater, Abbey Road on The River (Largest Beatles Festival in the country in Louisville Kentucky), Navy Pier’s Landshark Beer Garden, Schubas, Quenchers, Beat Kitchen, The House Café, The Atlantic, Double Door and many more. Members of this group have toured with the likes of, Liza Day, Positively 4th Street (Bob Dylan Tribute), Lonesome Highway (Bob Dylan, Byrds Tribute), Nacho Trees, Harrison & The Mood, Swell Suburbia, Get Back: A Tribute to the Beatles, Beatolution (formerly Stockwood): A Genuine Tribute to the Beatles.
