Johanna Hemara's musical journey began long before she had reached double figures, singing with her mother and father in variety shows all around Sydney from the age of six. You may also be surprised to learn that Johanna has never actually been taught to sing: it came naturally from her Austrian born mother, as did an inherited ability to yodel. So impressive was her rapid mastery of the yodel that it gained her instant notoriety, winning her the coveted Australian Yodelling Championship title in 2008. Having relocated with her young family to Tamworth in 2015, Johanna now spends time thrilling audiences Australia wide touring the cabaret scene as a headline act for P&O Australia, Princess Cruises, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Cunard Cruise Lines, Johanna also loves entertaining at music festivals and selected venues, and has earned a reputation as one of the finest and most versatile vocalists in the business.
